Hi everyone, 4 years ago I raised €9000 for an amazing local charity by climbing to Mount Everest base camp. At present we are all climbing a very different mountain daily and unexpectantly! So once again I have decided to raise some money and with the current situation, I have moved my fitness classes online.

Blessington Triathlon June 2016

What another amazing event. Blessington was the most stunning venue for my latest triathlon. We arrived late as we were stuck in traffic travelling through the mountains past the Wicklow 100 cycling event but we made it in time to sign up and listen to our briefing (a really important part of our event, as we learn about the safety aspects and the do's and dont's!). I loved the Carlow tri a few weeks before but the views in Blessington are just so incredible and you find yourself inspired as you swim, cycle and run. My brother and I have been 

The Club triathlon today of Racing795 May 22nd Carlow

So did my first official Triathlon of the season today and loved it! It took place in Carlow and was organised by the Racing795 club. It was such an incredible event and I enjoyed every minute of the push! I had only 3 weeks to get ready for it so I didn't do aswell as I would of liked but had a good time of 1.33. I hope to kill this in the next one and will definitely aim for a quicker time.

Curracloe (Raven Run) October 2015

Another incredible day runining in the VERY beautiful Curracloe Woods and Beach. I was deligeted to come in 2nd to an amazing runner. I pushed myself hard and really enjoyed the view as I ran through the woods and back up the beach which was a TRUE killer on my legs. Once the legs got tired I had to concentrate on using my arms to keep pushing myself and moving myself forward!

Dublin Half Marathon Sep 2015

Running the Dublin Half Marathon in Phoenix park Sep 2015 was a fabulous experience. I have really started working hard again on my training and loving it. I hadn't been running a couple of years while I was working hard on other areas of my fitness regime. Back running has been a great challenge and I have learned that I only compete with myself.

Darkness into light walk.... Courtown Harbour 9th May 2015 4.15am!!

What an incredible morning in Courtown where there must of been 500 people turn out to do the Darknesss into light walk. It started at the Courtown Adventure and leisure centre and fininsed in the centre of Courtown with music and food for all. Kids and adults took part and Pieta House were there to Thank everyone. WELL DONE to all that took part and I am proud that, myself, my friend and both our 9 year old daughters were with us on the journey to raising awareness that people 'DO CARE'

Trampoline Fitness Course starting Monday 4/02/13

We have decided to run a 6 weeks course of Trampoline Fitness, how about that? Starting Monday the 4th of February, (prebookings only- have a look at the bottom of the post for details) Everybody seemed to have a major fun day this week, so why not get the most of it. Shelley's classes are amazing. I would highly recommend her. She puts her heart and soul into every class. Whilst joining her class I feel so liberated. I seriously feel so good about myself, as Shelley really cares and takes the time to listen. She never turns a deaf ear, to me Shelley is so different from any trainer I've ever known she really cares and she's real. I can't stress that enough! - Kiera Byrne
